With a color palette pulled from His Airness‘ high school colors (go Laney High Buccs!), the Laney V was conspicuously missing from the stacked 2013 Jordan V release roster. Finally, Jordan Brand has shed some light on us with some “very-likely” news that the white/blue/gold shoe will soon be joining its V brethren for a rerelease.
Not since 2000 have we seen the Laney, and things have changed slightly in 13 years. The original release was a little different than the “regular” retro V release. It wasn’t one of the originals from 1990, so an Air Jordan 5 retro + 3/4 was placed on the box tag. Hopefully we see a regular release around Holiday 2013.
Check back with us here more information regarding the possible release of the Air Jordan Retro 5 “Laney”.
