Looks like Vans has been doing some simple sneaker math, ’cause its just-dropped Spring 2013 Denim pack is dictated by a straightforward equation: [classic materials] x [classic silhouette] = must-buy footwear.
The pack is two-pronged: the Era and Vans Sk8-Hi are both wrapped up in colorful, rich denims. The Sk8-Hi looks particularly sharp with its light blue denim, white Vans stripe, midsole and laces — it’d make a super-clean spring option.
The grunge vibe of the blue & black acid-wash colorways harks back to Vans’ glory years shoeing Seattle rockers in the ’90s. There’s also a really elegant black/grey scheme that gets all next-level with a copper brown pipe on its midsole.
