Society “Plaza de la Raza” Hi-Top | RETNA x Supra

Society Plaza de la Raza Hi Top | RETNA x Supra

Taking an charitable cue from Kanye and his $100K Yeezy 2s, Supra and acclaimed Los Angles graffiti artist RETNA teamed up to release a for-charity version of the former’s dual-strapped Society.

The Society is one of Supra’s most-beloved styles for its towering height and twin strap closures. RETNA made his mark by draping the black upper in a hieroglyphic-style pattern, with red & blue accents peeking out at the sock lining and heel. The hi-top boasts the Supra-standard white vulcanized midsole and red outsole, too.

As for the charitable aspect: a portion of the shoe’s proceeds will go directly to Plaza de la Raza, a community arts center in Los Angeles devoted to art education. This whole shoe-for-charity trend is one that we hope never goes out of style in our industry.

Only 413 pairs of the Retna Society collaboration were created, with each being numbered. They’ll go on sale this Saturday, February 9th, at the Factory 413 webstore and the brick ‘n mortars of SUPRA Paris, SUPRA NYC, and Factory413.
