Though its colors rep an NBA team that no longer exists, Reebok‘s classic Kamikaze II Mid still does, and it’s about to hit shelves of R23 stockists. It was on Shawn Kemp‘s feet that the profile — a zig-zag mixture of smooth, perforated, and suede leathers — became iconic, as they slashed up and down Western Conference courts en route to a franchise-record 64-win season.

The Kamikaze II Mid is an oft-overlooked member of the basketball shoe canon, but like Jordans, Dunks, Iversons, and Ewings, a deadstock pair will still cost you — as much as $300 USD on a secondary market. This is the first time you’ll be able to get the II from retailers since the mid-’90s.
