Comic books have long been shown to be money-making pop culture properties, so Aslan-Sebastian Malik‘s artistic decision to turn Dead Presidents into Justice League superheroes isn’t entirely without precedent.
The Berlin artist/designer went berserk on $5, $10, $20, and $100 USD bills, rendering Grant, Lincoln Franklin, and Hamilton as Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman. Defacing legal tender in such manner is illegal, but that’s besides the point, because in this case it’s undeniably awesome.
