“I been gone for a minute but I’m back wit’ the jump-off” is not what Justin Timberlake said to his many fans with the video released this morning on his website.
No, the Renaissance Man was much more vague about his intentions in the minute-long, John Urbano-directed, black-and-white teaser. By the end of his monologue, though, it’s pretty clear that the man who brought Sexy Back is bringing himself back — to music.
Timberlake has only released one album in six years, and only two total in the past decade. Rumors are all over the web today saying we should expect a new single from Timberlake featuring two emerging artists: Jay-Z & Beyoncé.
Do you think those three artists will be good partners on a record, or is it too much star power?
