Having colored socks that are too preppy is certainly a #FirstWorldProblem, and like the rest of them, this one is easily solved. Cheapo Socks‘ line of distinctively not-pompous, polychromatic foot-covers is knit from 80% cotton (plus 20% elastic stuff) in a host of patterns, none of which are the oversized polka dots popularized by Happy Socks and worn by every “free-spirited”, investment-banking sociopath.
We’re especially feeling the purple/black tiger stripes of the “Big Cat”, and the red/purple/green/black oozing of the “Drip”. The socks will look just as good paired with Vans and shorts as they will with a grey flannel suit. Actually, wait, that second part isn’t really true. But they will look great with Vans.
