“Paris” Wool/French Terry Crewneck Sweatshirt | Kith NYC x BWGH

Paris Wool/French Terry Crewneck Sweatshirt | Kith NYC x BWGH

The “Paris” crewneck from Kith NYC and BWGH is a Tale of Two Cities in streetwear sweatshirt form. Sewn from navy wool and lined with French terry for comfort, the piece was designed by the Parisien tandem and executed by Ronnie Fieg‘s NYC emporium. You can tell from the “Just Us” scrawled across its chest in red embroidered terry.

Elbows are patched with corduroy. The loop-back cotton inside is a nice touch, because when you roll your cuff (like in the picture below) you’ll be able to tap into a new colorway and texture to add some wrinkles to your kit. We especially like the Paris for its fluid indigo color — depending on how it catches the light, it’ll look anywhere from true navy to nearly purple.

This crewneck is actually the first of two to come from the trans-Atlantic partnership. Kith’s blog claims that this color represents the French capital (with the French tricolor comprising the colorway), while the second iteration will evoke the City That Never Sleeps. No word yet on how the two brands will capture the essence of the latter city.

Cop yours for $120 USD at Kith NYC’s brick ‘n mortars or webstore on December 14th.

Wondering what the hell those crazy Asics are pictured with the Paris? Check ‘em out here.
